Meet The Owner
Marek Jajcay moved to Chicago, from Slovakia, in 2016 and started process of learning about different kind of construction then he was used to in Slovakia. His background in Slovakia is in managing different companies and either helping them off the ground or re-starting them in order to improve communication and production efficiency. He has background in construction since he was a little boy, working with his dad on building new homes at his dad's company.
While developing and reshaping his skills in construction and leadership in US, he started a development company where he purchased homes and updated them, changed layouts and sold. Also started new construction of single family homes and multiunit condos. After many disappointments in general contracting companies, he decided to launch his own building and remodeling company with high standards providing high level of quality; care for customers and their needs; and care for construction workers.

Marek was wonderful to work with! He is very detail-oriented with costs so there were no surprises, and he's very trustworthy. He was always responsive in communicating with us, really cared that we were completely happy with their work, and was patient with us when we changed our mind on some things. We very much appreciated the extensive work Marek and his team did in our Chicago home. He is simply the best contractor we have ever worked with. Not only was Marek very organized and competent, responding to our numerous emails and accomplishing the very extensive work we had at an extremely fast pace despite the challenges of pandemic labor shortages and supply chain issues. His staff is extremely polite, respectful, and careful. He is also creative, and has a natural sense of design, giving us very good advice on many aspects, and was a great collaborator with our designer. I am an interior designer and architect and I worked with A&M on a recent remodel in Evanston and they are phenomenal. I wish they could be the GC on every one of my projects! They were very professional, very knowledgeable and just a great resource to have during any renovation. They were able to be creative with the client's budget and they did an impeccable job. This was the first time I showed up on a job site and I did not have to mark with blue tape any areas for correction.
